About Oral Surgery
Oral Surgery specialises in managing problems with teeth and the surrounding bone, that require surgical care. This includes removal of broken down teeth and management of misplaced and impacted teeth amongst other things.
Resolution have carefully designed their oral surgery service to minimise the anxiety some patients may feel towards oral surgery.
We offer a caring and efficient service with reduced waiting times for treatments as well as out of hours services if required. This is important because a delay for waiting for surgery is the single biggest factor in adding to the anxiety of treatment. All Oral Surgery procedures carried out at the practice are offered on a private basis.

Our Clinicians
Mark Brickley BDS MscD PhD MOrth RCS (Ed)
Dr Brickley is the lead clinician at Resolution. He has published work on many aspects of dental care including the relationship between oral surgery and orthodontics. His doctorate studied the indications for and methods of treating impacted wisdom teeth.
Andy Armstrong BDS MFDS RCS
Mr Armstrong has many years experience in hospital and practice based oral surgery. He gained his MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003 and currently works in the Maxilliofacial departments in Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton and Yeovil District Hospital.
